• Anterior: Superior and inferior ophthalmic veins, pterygoid plexus of veins (via facial vein)
• Posterior: Superior and inferior petrosal, intercavernous sinus

• Lateral wall: CNs III, IV, V1, V2
• Running through cavernous sinus: CN VI ICA

Clinical Relation

• Route of infection to brain (eg, zygomycosis)
• Cavernous sinus thrombosis
